Something About Nothing

There was a woman in the Bible days that was oppressed with debt.  She had no husband, no food, she had no hope, and all she had was bills.  Her creditors were about to take her sons into slavery for the payment which would have put her in a state of depression.  However, she was asked a question what do you have in your house?  Nothing but a jar of oil was her reply.  God has a way of changing our nothing into something; little becomes much when we put it in God’s hand.  God wants to fill all of our empty vessels but we must have a desire to be filled.  He wastes His blessings and the outpouring of His Spirit on those who do not want to receive.  This woman’s faith was about to be tested, as she was being prepared for a mind blowing experience. She is about to understand the meaning of Jehovah Jireh the Lord my Provider.  What is it that causes you to fill empty on the inside?  What is oppressing you?  Are you in the land of nothing?  Stretch out your hands to the hills from whence cometh your help and acknowledge to Jesus that you are at your breaking point and allow him to fill your empty vessel. There is something about nothing moving the hand of God.
