Perilous Times

We are living in the perilous times spoken of by Paul.  There are wars and rumors of wars, nations and kingdoms’ rising up against each other, earthquakes in various places, but this is only the beginning of sorrow.  Our society’s moral conduct is on the verge of non–existence.  We have no self-respect for others, and our self.  Violence is on every street corner it seems.  You cannot turn on the television without hearing about crime.  Mankind is more in love with themselves than with God.  The Epicurean spirit is in full swing.  When we love ourselves more than we love God, no good thing can be expected from us.  God is not pleased with the state of our society in these perilous times; for the Word of God states “will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to fables”.

We are the end time church and the time has come that we take a stand against all that is evil. The church has to declare we are not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.  It is time to wreck havoc on the devil.  No longer are we to be comfortable with sin we must let the world know that “The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life”.  We must inform them “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead you will be saved”.  Our society needs to hear the authentic Gospel.

“Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord and the power of His might”.
