“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.  In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.”  During a busy 2013 we laughed, cried, made good and bad decisions, celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, witnessed the birth of children and the passing of loved ones, the question is where do we go from here?  The key in 2014 is to trust in the Lord for He already knows what the future holds. One thing about faith is that it does not require you to see, but it does require you to believe.  Believe all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose, and believe God can do anything but fail.

We have to be more efficient in our personal life and ministry if we expect to be more successful than last year; there is no rest for the weary, no time to pat your self on the back. “The harvest is ripe, but the labors are few”.  We as leaders must do a better job in leading by example, become more accountable, and serve with honor and commitment to God and His people in our homes and church.  Where do we go from here?  Another level of praise, worship, preaching, teaching, stewardship, discipleship, giving, loving, fasting, praying, and serving, because only what we do for Christ will last.  We can only get there by trusting in the Lord with all our heart and leaning not unto our own understanding.  In all of our ways acknowledge Him and He will direct our path.

The year 2013 is now in the history books and there is nothing you can change, leave the past in the past.  Start fresh in Christ by trusting Him.
