But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive you of your trespasses.”   Forgiveness is unconditional and unlimited. Forgivingness is a major problem in our society.  Families, relationships, friendships, and churches are being torn apart because someone refuses to apologize and forgive. Many times pride keeps us from saying I am sorry and I forgive you leading to animosity.  Forgiveness may not be easy but it is worth it. When you get to the point you feel you cannot forgive, remember Calvary.  After all, Jesus went through and He was still able to say, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do”.  Peter asks Jesus how often should I forgive my brother up to seven times. Jesus response was, “I do say to you up to seven times but seventy times seven.”  Every time forgiveness is sought it should be given.  When we refuse to forgive it shows that we do not completely understand how much God has forgiven us.  It is unthinkable that those who have received forgiveness fail to forgive.  Today if you need to apologize or forgive, do so.  God forgives because He loves you, and love keeps no record of wrong.

“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him that your Father in Heaven may also forgive you of your trespasses.”
