Alpha and Omega

Jesus testified that He is “Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” There is no misunderstanding; the words are not confusing, there is nothing hard about it.  Why is it we refuse to make Him the first and last of our life?  How are we living our life from birth until the present?  Somewhere between these two dates of birth and death, which we have no knowledge of; we need or should have given our life to Christ.  The point is, God is concerned about the total being, and He is concerned about the middle.  What we do in the middle, that time between the beginning and the end, determines our eternal destination.  What we do with this particular part of life is critical.  Some are still separated from His salvation and for years, we have spent countless hours in sin doing everything we thought we could get away with.  Now is the time to find peace with God.  In Jesus final biblical words, He said surely, “I am coming quickly.”  The time and hour is not for us to know, just know it is sooner than yesterday.  His coming will be a terror for some and a joy for others.  Everybody will see Him but are we prepared to see Him. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, says the Lord “who is and who was and who is to come the Almighty.”  My prayer today is that you allow Jesus to become the First and Last of your life.  “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.”  AMEN.
